2019 Santa Tree

Athens County Children Services is proud to coordinate the 31st annual Santa Tree Project!

Each year the Santa Tree project collects enough gifts to brighten the holiday season of over 1,200 children in Athens County. This program helps spread holiday cheer to those less fortunate, and it wholly depends on the generosity of community members. A donation to any one child could be enough to make their holiday season a joyous one.

Community members can contribute to this project by selecting an ornament off of the various Santa Trees within the Athens Community. Each ornament represents one child in need, and it is personalized with their name, age, and holiday wishes. The main Santa Tree will be on display at the Market on State through December 7. Athens County Children Services will be collecting gifts for this program until December 11.

Community members are encouraged to take part in this opportunity to spread the love and joy of the holiday season. For more information, please contact Athens County Children Services at (740) 592-3061.
