Juvenile Justice Programs

Because every young person is an individual with different needs, we have developed a variety of programs for children and adolescents who are unruly or in trouble. These programs are in partnership with Athens County Juvenile Court.

POSITRACT is a crisis intervention and diversion program for youth 13-18 which seeks to provide solutions to behavior problems by working with the youth, family, schools, and court. Referrals may be received from parents, school, clergy, law enforcement and court.

Prime Track works with children 6-12 years old who have had unruly or delinquency charges filed in Juvenile Court. This program works with family, school, and court to provide intense family-based intervention services.

Independent Living is a program that serves youth between 16-18. This program prepares them to live on their own and to function in society to the best of their abilities. Program youth learn the skills they will need as adults through group training, retreats, and assistance with their individual needs
