Prevent Child Abuse Ohio Prevent Child Abuse Ohio (PCAO), is a statewide organization whose mission is to help prevent the abuse and neglect of Ohio's children by serving as an expert resource for collaboration, information and education. PCAO, a chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America, merged with Columbus Children's Hospital in 1993 as a result of the closure of the Columbus' League Against Child Abuse.
