Intake - Report of Abuse and Neglect
Suspected child abuse or neglect is often brought to our attention by a neighbor, family member, or friend. We also receive reports from health care professionals, teachers, daycare workers, attorneys, ministers and others who are required by Ohio law to report suspected abuse or neglect.
We gather as much information as possible about the family’s situation. If we find abuse or neglect has occurred or is likely to occur, we act to ensure the safety of the child and assist the family. The name of the person who contacted us is kept confidential throughout the process.
Staff can be reached at 740- 592–3061 from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
After hours call 1–877–477–0772 (for emergencies only)
