According to her foster mom, Nancy Sue is “incredibly likeable and makes me laugh!” Nancy Sue has a great sense of humor, is very social, and has a best friend that she likes to do activities with. Her favorite subject in school is reading and she needs a little help when it comes to math. Nancy Sue has an IEP but is attending regular classes in school. She needs some assistance with taking tests and needs a few reminders about turning in her homework.
Nancy Sue does best with consistency and structure. She is learning different coping skills to manage her anger and is taking medication to help control her behavior. Nancy Sue will need to continue to attend weekly counseling to help her work through issues from her past. Nancy Sue will do best in a family that is firm, loving, and consistent. Nancy Sue is in the permanent custody of Athens County Children Services and is legally available for adoption. Subsidies are available.
