Birthdate: December, 1994
La Donna loves to sing and dance! La Donna is a youngster who also likes pizza, spaghetti, and playing baseball. She works hard to please adults and offers to help with household chores. She can be caring and affectionate and shows concern for others.
La Donna has some academic delays but is actively engaged in her school program where she receives extra academic and behavioral support. La Donna has angry outbursts but is working actively in therapy to learn how to self-regulate her emotions and behavior. She takes medication for these issues as well. La Donna is anxious to be part of a permanent family.
La Donna needs a structured, nurturing family, preferably with experience in special needs adoption or a therapeutic foster-to-adopt family who will be able to help her to experience success and hope for the future. La Donna also needs an adoptive family who will participate with her in treatment as she works through issues related to her past. La Donna is in the permanent custody of Athens County Children Services and is legally available for adoption. Subsidies are available.
