Very active, Donald is a small, slight boy who is very athletic and has boundless energy. His favorite sport is baseball, but he also likes football, basketball and badminton. When not involved in sports, Donald favors riding his bike or watching Scooby Doo on television. He eats well, particularly when pizza is on the menu.
Donald has a good sense of fun and is very likeable. Donald is being treated for growth hormone deficiency and takes medication for attention deficits and hyperactivity, and behavioral/emotional issues, as well. Donald is currently in residential treatment and needs a family that is willing to work in therapy with him while he is still at the residential center.
Athens County Children Services is looking for a one or two parent family who can provide Donald with a loving, consistent and structured home. Donald tends to be jealous of younger siblings and gets along better with older children. He has a sister who is being placed separately, but he would want to maintain contact with her.
Donald is in the permanent custody of Athens County Children Services and is available for adoption. Subsidies are available.
