Like to craft? Well Courtney does too! She is a good artist and especially likes to work with beads. Courtney doesn’t watch a lot of television. She can be a picky eater but especially likes pizza, turkey sandwiches, pepper-jack cheese and Velveeta shells and cheese.
Courtney is in mostly regular classes but has an IEP. She does not like to do homework and needs encouragement to read more. Courtney is in counseling to deal with her past and will need a family who will be involved in treatment with her to overcome those issues. Courtney should be the only child or the youngest in a family with older girls. She is can become jealous of other children particularly those who are close in age to her or younger. She also needs a family who will help her work on personal boundaries. Courtney can be affectionate once she has learned to trust and feels safe. She takes medication to help her manage her behavior. Courtney is currently in residential treatment and needs a dedicated, patient family willing to support her through treatment.
Courtney is in the permanent custody of Athens County Children Services and is legally available for adoption. Subsidies are available.
