Austin is a very active but sensitive boy who loves pizza, T-ball and Sponge Bob Squarepants. Austin expresses himself well, but memories of past experiences interfere with his performance at school. He receives learning and behavioral assistance in a small special needs classroom. Austin’s favorite times at school are Art, gym, recess and lunch. Austin is charming and enjoys adult attention. He requires a high level of structure and supervision. Austin takes medication to help him manage his behavior which can be aggressive. He has a brother who is being placed separately with whom he wants to keep in contact.
Austin is in the permanent custody of Athens County Children Services and is legally available for adoption. The agency is seeking an adoptive family where Austin is the only or youngest child. Subsidies are available.
